Easy and Inexpensive Redecorating Ideas

I am sitting here on my couch with my laptop on my lap coming up with a post. Last week while going through my social media accounts I was requested to do a post on inexpensive redecorating ideas. I decided to put together ideas that are not only affordable but easy to do  and work for a bedroom or living room, so let’s dive right in.

Change Photos

So you know those framed photos on your walls, bedside table or work desk  that you have had for a long time?  They could be photos of your family, friends or yourself. What I do is remove them and replace them with new ones. Something modern and popular right now is printable wall art that you can buy online and just print then hang on your wall. This store has inexpensive but gorgeous ones. The bigger the framed picture (picture below) the more attention it will get and that makes for a good focal point. So I say go big!

Use Books

Another inexpensive redecorating tip is using books and plants (next point) to style your coffee table. I like the idea of not buying books but actually going through your collection of interesting books you have always had but hardly read. You also want to pick books of different topics, those that will also act as a conversation starter when you have friends visiting. Use a sculptural item to hold the books down.

Go Green

Next is to get some green flowers and plants in your house. I personally love plants everywhere and since we are talking about inexpensive ideas, get some fake flowers. For the bathroom and living room, I love white flowers in a glass vase. I currently have wheat grass near my kitchen sink, so cheap and pretty. For my bedside table, I bought these colorful flowers I posted on Instagram.

Toss Pillows

I saved this idea for last, because it is guaranteed to change the look of your bed or couch. If you are really on a budget and all you can do is one thing, just get toss pillows or different textures and pill them up. You can also change your current couch pillow covers for new ones.

I love this article as most people think you got to have loads of money to be able to decorate your house. So this is really helpful I would share it on my facebook page.
